Hopefully you will enjoy shopping on our site and learning more about how we make our products.
If you would like to support our fundraising for Haiti, there are lots of ways to help:
- Purchase some of our products here and the majority of the revenue will go to the cause. We do have material costs, but very little overhead and no labor costs.
- Make a direct donation by clicking the PayPal link at the bottom of the page.
- If you are a supplier, we will be very grateful for your donation of material or equipment. Our needs are listed here.
Curious about what goes into our products? We use a lot of different oils, butters, clays, etc. that all add different nuances to our soaps and balms. Check out our ingredients tab to learn more.
Soap making is an art as much as a science. Some people are very creative and some have technical skills, but soaping requires some of both! If you're curious about how soap is made, we have information to help you get started.
Soaping can get pretty technical. There are many type of oils and butters, all of which lend different properties to soap through a process call saponification where lye turns oils into soap salts. We've provided you with a handy resource page if you're interested.
